“As adult educators … we must harness the natural self, reconcile the experiential self, serve the practical self, and awaken the critical self within our middle life learners.”

Gatineau Police Service offers support to IBPRP through organizational review exercise

Directeur John Janusz and his staff hosted the 11 members of the International Best Practices Research Project for a unique Organizational Review opportunity.  During the day-long event, IBPRP members who represent senior police leadership from across the country, took a critical look at the progress achieved to date in the restructuring and cultural challenges arising from the year-old Gatineau police amalgamation.  The team offered some new perspectives and a great deal of positive encouragement for the path which the senior Gatineau administration is following.  From the IBPRP perspective, the exercise was a pioneering event which challenged members to immerse themselves into an unknown environment, to cross language and cultural barriers (for most), and to extract meaningful insights in a compressed encounter.
