ISIS Research Model featured at Distance Education and Technology Symposium (DETS 2008) in Edmonton
ISIS Program Director Norm Taylor and Research Coach Dr. Cynthia Blodgett were featured presenters at this year’s Athabasca University DETS symposium, where they introduced the ISIS research and executive PBL model to about 50 academics in attendance. Superintendent Brad Ward of the Edmonton Police Service, a 2008 ISIS team member, was also on hand to lend some first-hand perspective to the discussions. The presentation generated significant interest among participating educators and researchers alike.
